Stephen Gatchell is a Director of Data Advisory at BigID, a data intelligence platform that leverages AI/ML to discover enterprise data for the purpose of privacy, security and data governance. In his role he specializes in helping customers with data strategy and execution, developing and delivering thought leadership around data, and influencing product development. Stephen also is a member of Innovation Advisory Councils and is contributing to industry data standards.

Prior to BigID, Stephen developed and executed data strategies for EMC, Dell and Bose, holds a patent on Hierarchical Value-based Governance Architecture, and has won multiple awards around governance.
